Particle Accelerators

Here are all the lists of pages for particle accelerators I know about.

Particle Accelerators Around the World

Particle Accelerators Around the World - this list of particle accelerators is sorted alphabetically and by region and by type.

List of Accelerators in Particle Physics

List of Accelerators in Particle Physics - a comprehensive list of particle accelerators at the Wikipedia project. Includes cyclotrons, synchrotrons, fixed-target accelerators, electron-positron colliders, hadron colliders, electron-proton colliders and ion colliders.

Some specific particle accelerators

CEBAF

CEBAF stands for Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility and the actual CEBAF linear accelerator itself can be found at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. The Jefferson Lab's CEBAF accelerator furnishes electrons for nuclear physics experiments.

Large Hadron Collider

Large Hadron Collider - Also known as the LHC, the Large Hadron Collider. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is in a circular tunnel twenty seven kilometres in circumference and buried around fifty to one hundred and seventy five metres underground. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) straddles the Switzerland and France at their borders just on the outskirts of Geneva.
